Because we weren’t able to have Vacation Bible School we decided to have a Back Yard Bible Club at our house. We had fun even though only 4 or 5 neighbor kids showed up. Even though it was only supposed to last an hour or two almost all of the kids ended up staying till lunch time.
It was encouraging to see the children reciting their memory verses on Sunday.
As Virgil and Glenna Yehnert retired and moved in with their daughter, who lives a few hours away, we celebrated the many years of faithful service that they had given to the Lord. However this parting was bitter sweet, we know that it is for their good, but we will miss their sweet smiles and the daily example of true love that they demonstrate to all the see them.
With the help of our friends and family we successfully moved in to the church parsonage.
